It's official, we've added another way to get in touch with fellow game designers in the Northern California area! Originally our meet ups were posted on Meetup, however we have created a Facebook group to reach a larger audience.
This is a group for tabletop game designers (board games, card games, etc.) to meet, play test, and give feedback to improve each other's games. This is not a game night group, or a group to play already published games. This is for game designers to improve their skills by learning from each other. Also welcome are willing play testers who want to give thoughtful feedback on prototype games in progress, and anyone interested in the process of developing a new tabletop game. This group is for family-friendly games only (zombie-slaying is fine, but no "adult-themed" games, please), and kids who are old enough and willing to help with play testing are welcome. The organizer's 11-year old board game enthusiast son will sometimes attend.
